ABOUT OUR EXPERT

Nicole leads the Global Public Sector Technology team and specializes in education. Her research work focuses on how institutions use mission-critical applications, such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions, CRM, portals and vertical specific technologies to garner efficiencies and improve constituent services.

Nicole’s research work focuses on how education institutions use mission-critical applications such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) solutions to garner efficiencies and improve constituent services. In recently published reports, Nicole has presented a framework for evaluating enterprise portal solutions, conducted a comparative analysis of leading CRM solutions, and analyzed how the growing number of non-traditional students impact ERP and Student Information System (SIS) applications.

Recognized for her work in these areas, Nicole is quoted regularly in such publications as DestinationCRM, University Business, The Chronicle of Higher Education, EdWeek, T.H.E. Journal, New York Times, Government VAR, Dow Jones and TechNewsWorld and has presented at leading industry conferences, including AACRAO and SIIA’s degree.

Prior to assuming her position at Datamonitor, Nicole was the Vice President of Educational Services at TestU, a provider of online test preparation courses and assessment products. In this role, she worked with school districts to design effective implementation plans that utilized technology and assessment to improve student achievement, as well as led the development of TestU’s client reporting systems. Nicole also has experience in higher education, having held leadership positions in admissions and career services.

Nicole holds a M.Ed. in Educational Administration and Policy Analysis from Columbia University and a B.A. in Classics from Union College, where she graduated magna cum laude.
