Seneca Collegeto Pilot Joint CRM and Retention Solution from Intelliworks and Starfish Retention Solutions

Institution to leverage relationship management technology to increase student engagement and success

Bethesda, Md. and Arlington, Va. – June 15, 2011 - Intelliworks, Inc., a leading provider of relationship management solutions for higher education, and Starfish Retention Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of student success systems, announced a joint pilot program today to help provide retention solutions to Seneca College in Ontario, Canada.

Already forward-thinking with respect to innovation in student retention, Seneca, which received the Outstanding Student Retention Award last year fromThe Educational Policy Institute, looks to expand its efforts to support and engage students throughout their education and increase retention and graduation rates.

The pilot program will be focused initially on Seneca’s King Campus, which offers full and part-time programs in the areas of applied arts and health sciences.  Once implemented, the Starfish service may be fully integrated with the school’s Blackboard LMS.

“At Seneca College, students are at the centre of all that we do and our collaboration with Intelliworks and Starfish will help us keep student success and retention as our focus,” said Chris McGrath, Seneca’s Dean of Students. “This pilot project will also facilitate an innovative framework to identify students in need of additional support by connecting cross-functional teams of advisors and staff to craft the best possible support plan for students.”
